Water colors, music and chemistry met at Likya Yolu Exhibition

Likya Yolu sergisinden : Gündoğ'un resimleri, Önder'in prelüdleri, 440 nanometre mavisi,"Mustafa'nın pigmenti"nin hidrofobik ve hidrofilik uçları, polietilenglikolün suluboyaya ettiği, Rothko'nun solarak Harvard'ı utandıran eserleri... Sergi sonrasında resimler gitti ama hikayeler, müzik ve bastırdığımız kartpostallar Ege'de Atölye'ye kaldı. Gündoğ Yücesan başta emeği geçen herkese teşekkürler!

Gündoğ's paintings, Önder's freshly composed preludes, 440 nm blue, hydrophobic and hydrophilic ends of "Mustafa's pigment", what polyethylene glycol did to water colors.... Rothko's gift to Harvard  and how to the embarrassment of the university administration, these murals faded from sun. What pigments did Rothko used, why they faded, what are the alternatives.  These were some of the things we talked about during the exhibition. Of course,  a lot of questions about olive, olive oil and olive related businesses followed.
